Prusa I3 Mk2 clone
Has anyone else been following Thomas Sanladerers series on making a clone of the I3 using off the shelf parts.

Here's the first video with playlist attatched

i watched the first one, and havnt had time to watch the live streams yet. does he mention the final cost of parts ever? the solid wood frame is a bit unusual for me, but would make things cheaper by not having to buy 2020 extrusion.

You can find the parts list and the approximate prices on https://toms3d.org/2017/02/23/building-cheapest-possible-prusa-i3-mk2/ - You'll need a printer capable of ABS for the printed parts though. Otherwise it's a quite good clone, and wood is not unheard of as 3d printer build material :)
