101hero $99 3D Printer - an Upgrade Story
I did put together my work of the recent months of tweaking the printer on instrutables.

What is this instructable about?

- add spool holder
- add additional frame parts to allow higher accelerations
- modify delta rods to avoid backlash
- some fans here and there
- upgrade power supply
- replace motors by NEMA14 steppers
- replace hotend and extruder
- final results

Immediately Instructables featured my upgrade story. That's cool :)
If you think this is useful, please vote for it.

Big thanks!

YOU are awesome!  Nice work all the way around.

Are you saying the 101hero uses the bi-polar hack on these little stepper motors?  That makes sense now...

Have the stl files for the vertical towers been done yet?   I'd love to do the mods and still preserve the original parts.

Also, can you sell me the metal top and bottom?

I did replace vertical 3pcs motors of towers with NEMA14 0.9deg and one extruder with NEMA17 1.8 deg
